Alfons Rodríguez
Alfons Rodríguez is a photographer and documentary maker with photographic and video works exhibited and screened in different countries of Europe, the Americas, and Africa. In his more than twenty-five-year career as a reporter he has published hundreds of reports, and his images have appeared in National Geographic, Repubblica, The New York Times, El País, Geo, The Courier, La Vanguardia, Gatopardo and Black Star News, among other media outlets. He is co-director of the full-length documentary The Sleeping Land, which was included in the official selection for the 2018 DOK Leipzig Festival. He has also published several books of photographs and has received national and international prizes for his work. His most recent transmedia project Indestructibles, co-authored with Xavier Aldekoa, has entailed almost three years of work in ten African countries.
