Aigua és vida

The objective of the Aigua és Vida collective is to ensure that water policies and the management of the complete water cycle in Catalonia are carried out by the public sector, with the participation and oversight of civil society as a guarantee of service quality and democratic accountability. In this regard, Aigua és Vida denounces the role of profit-driven sectors in water and sanitation management, represented by private corporations, both in the upper and lower parts of the water cycle. They have established the Social Water Summit as a pressure group and political interlocutor with the administration.
