Agrupación Señor Serrano

Founded by Àlex Serrano in 2006, Agrupación Señor Serrano is a Barcelona-based theatre company that creates original shows based on discordant aspects of contemporary human experience. Señor Serrano’s productions combine live video, models, text, performance and objects. The company’s shows are mostly presented and tour internationally.

At present, Agrupación Señor Serrano is made up of Àlex Serrano, Pau Palacios and Barbara Bloin. For each show, the company is also joined by a versatile, multidisciplinary creative team. On 3 August 2015, Agrupación Señor Serrano was awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale. The company has also regularly received national and international prizes, and critical praise in media such as The New York Times, Folha de Sao Paulo, Tiempo Argentino and El Mundo.es.
