Adrià Febrer Gallifa

With a degree in Art History and Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Barcelona, and Master’s in Film and Contemporary Audiovisual Studies from Pompeu Fabra University. Both academically and professionally, he explores audiovisual media from an anthropological perspective, with a particular focus on contemporary Chinese cinema and indigenous peoples' cinema.

He is currently part of the film department at alterNativa Intercanvi amb Pobles Indígenes, where he is part of the programming, coordination, and production team of the IndiFest – Festival de Cinema Indígena de Barcelona, and coordinates the MiradaNativa film platform. Through alterNativa, he has also contributed to the conceptualization and programming of the series “Amazonian visions. Cycle of contemporary films by indigenous peoples” at the CCCB.
