Adeline Flaun

Adeline Flaun is an actress, director, and creator of performing arts programmes, mainly in Catalonia and Martinique. She usually works with the theatre companies Act’in Matnik (France) and Almaradas (Spain), exploring in her pieces such issues as alienation and emancipation, with an emphasis on the present challenges of feminism, antiracist struggles, and environmentalism. As a director, she regularly works with the Scène Nationale in Martinique, with support from such international entities as Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, the French Institute in Paris, in Colombia, and in Cameroon, as well as the Bandjoun Station art centre, also in Cameroon. She has published Moi Dispositif Vénus (Acoria, 2023) and the text of her last theatrical production, Un bruissement de fourmilières, will soon be published by Espaces 34. As an actress, she has worked with such well-known directors as Julio Manrique, Carlota Subirós, and Ángels Aymar.
