Adam Bly

Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Seed Media Group

Adam Bly drives Seed Media Group's overall business and content strategy. At 16, he became the youngest researcher at the National Research Council Canada (NRC). While at the NRC, Adam identified a cultural shift in the making and set out to launch Seed, a re-imagined science magazine for the 21st century. Seed has earned international acclaim, and has been heralded as "the magazine that best defines the cultural zeitgeist". The success of Seed led Adam to create Seed Media Group, a diversified media and technology company with a mission of raising global scientific literacy. In 2007, he was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and he is a recipient of the Golden Jubilee Medal from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Adam has spoken extensively on the relationship between science and society, most notably at the World Economic Forum, the National Academy of Sciences and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
