The CCCB’s Programme
As Peter Brooks says in the programme, the function of theatre has to be constantly rethought, because the opinions of the past are no longer applicable. One way of doing this is to redefine the relation between the dramatist and the audience. Starting with two productions for Grec 2013 premiered in the Teatre del CCCB, the programme goes on to look at works that create a new relation with the audience. This episode reflects on theatre and participation with the views of four directors who devise creative experiences to break with certain theatrical conventions: Ernesto Collado, Iván Morales, Ivo Van Hove and Roger Bernat.
