Exhibition
Palestinian Chronicles
Since the start of the second Intifada in September 2000, teams of doctors and psychologists from Metges sense Fronteres have been providing assistance to the Palestinian civil population of Hebron and the Gaza strip. This exhibition is the result of collaboration between the photographer Philippe Conti and our medical teams based in the zone.
This exhibition is evidence of the everyday reality of a population caught up in war and subjected to suffering that is often overlooked.'At first, I devoted myself to observing the consequences of the Israeli occupation on the mental health of the people who live in Palestinian territory (...) Then I set out to highlight the economic and social consequences of the blockades imposed by the Israeli army on the everyday life of its inhabitants.'
