Barcelona Poetry Slam is a platform for contemporary artistic creation centring on the word. The project places the word and the stage at the centre of a new cultural offer, using the slam and the spoken word.The regular championship has been held since February 2010.
April sees the start of the fourth Barcelona Poetry Slam season. Half poetry, half performance, the poetry slam is a poetic contest with a lively, dynamic, participatory format that creates a new relation between the public and the poets.
