La Mercè 2017 at the CCCB

El Raval sounds like Reykjavík

Festivals + Audiovisuals

As it does every September, the La Mercè Festival is coming to the CCCB. This year, the guest city invited is Reykjavík, which will be presenting us with pop, rock, hip-hop and electronic music made in the Icelandic capital. To make your immersion in the culture of Iceland total, you can visit the «Björk Digital» exhibition at a reduced price (10 euros) or enjoy free screenings of Icelandic films.

Live music

Bands from the creative music scene in Reykjavík – such as Samaris, Kiasmos and Ólöf Arnalds – will be on the stages of the BAM (Barcelona Musical Action Festival) at the Plaça Coromines.

Björk Digital at a reduced price

At the CCCB you have the opportunity of visiting the exhibition Björk Digital, an emotional and personal journey through the music and the universe of the iconic Icelandic artist. On 23, 24 and 25 September the entry price is reduced to €10.
