Docúpolis offers a programme in which the up-to-date art of documentary making and a critical view of reality provide a plural platform for debate, reflection and the diffusion of this film genre.

In year five of the festival, 700 documentaries participate in the international competition. Parallel activities include Turkey as the guest country, an author retrospective dedicated to documentary-maker Eduardo Couthino and a seminar given by film-maker Llorenç Soler.
