Free with pre-booking
The seminars in the series ‘Living Together: Territory, Community, Resources’ offer a space for reflection in which professionals in architecture and urbanism come together with experts, researchers and activists from different fields to share experiences and engage in a dialogue with the audience.
This seminar focuses on the practices of participatory architecture and urbanism, which enable the codesign of public and private spaces, and aim to respond to the real needs of citizens. We will reflect on care and on the perspectives of gender and intergenerationality in the practice of urbanism, in the interest of guaranteeing equality, social cohesion, and the wellbeing of the entire community. We will also share the experiences of sociocultural initiatives intended to preserve historical heritage and revitalise population centres with a lower density.
With participation from:
Marta Serra Permanyer, architect and professor at the Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV)
Carles Baiges, architect, member of the cooperative La Col
Pilar Díez, coordinator of the project Palomares de Palencia and co-founder of the Platform Made in Tierra Spain
