BCNmp7. GROOVES X GIRLS

Women play an active role in the world of music. Nowadays this is seen as a normal occurrence, but it hasn’t always been this way. The next session of BCNmp7 will be dedicated to the women of the local and national music scenes, who will speak at a round table discussion of their own experiences in this milieu. Afterwards, there will be music by two DJs and Jarboe who will show us the most intimate side of her music in a special concert, accompanied by the guitarist Niccolo Stefan.

 

5.30 pm Round table discussion with Marta Salicrú (scannerFM, Go Mag and DJ Bonnie and Clyde), Siamiss DJs, Nona Rubio (La Paloma, B-Pop, DJ Señor Rosa) Judith Llimós (L’Auditori).

Presenter: Alícia Rodríguez (Guia del Ocio de Barcelona, Go Mag).

The discussion will centre on the role of the Girl Bands of the 1960s and all those women who changed the history of music through a review of the day-to-day experiences of the participants.
