Animal Religion

Copiar [work in progress]

Scene

Copiar is a performance about human relationships and how culture is generated. Animal Religion investigates the tool of copying as a method of learning and the impact it has on our lives.

Copying has a bad reputation. The thinking around this act is pejorative, of little originality, of few individual ideas and, therefore, of little personality. And this is a surprising fact because, in reality, as the social beings that we are, from birth to death we always copy. We copy how others speak, how they move, how they express themselves, how they dress, what opinions they have... Actually, copying is very natural. We all copy each other and thanks to this fact we connect, we learn and make each other learn and, in this way, society evolves.

Animal Religion began the process of creating Copy in 2018 and will be released in January 2024.
