Amin Maalouf: Literature and Return

Conversation with Imma Monsó

Debate

On the occasion of the launch of his novel Los desorientados (The Lost), the Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf will be speaking with the Catalan writer Imma Monsó about recurrent themes in his literature, including identity, memory and East-West relations. Los desorientados, recently published by Alianza Editorial, is a kind of dual homecoming since this is the first novel Amin Maalouf has published after ten years of publishing essays, and it has also involved a return to his native land, his youth and the feelings and ghosts of the past.

When the event finishes, Amin Maalouf will sign books.

Presenters: Imma Monsó
