Pilote le Hot

A pioneering figure in slam poetry since 1985, he has created his own character, with a flow and a sound which are his unique ‘trademark'. In 1995 he initiated and became one of the principal activist of the slam poetry movement in France, with democratic poetry meetings open to all, regardless of culture, origins, identity or style.

He has been the organiser of the Nuit blanche oratoire (an event organized jointly with the City of Paris, France, in 2002) where more than 200 poets performed throughout the night. He has been, with the French Federation Of Poetry Slam (ffdsp.com), one of the active organisators of the National Poetry Slam and the Slam World Cup in France with 18 foreign poets representing their country and 70 French poets representing their city.

He has written Amours, Poésies et Pâtes fraîches (1999) and Culture rapide (2001).
