Edmond Baudoin and Carol Vanni

Dimanche vingt sis octobre deux mille huit

Delicate strokes of a brush define a gesture in black against a white background. The figures that represent the body of a woman transcend the limits of the frame, the illustration and the observer's look: a smooth movement that identifies a mode of expression. It is a dance, without music or, better said, one that follows the melody and the rhythm contained inside the drawing as the extreme end of the chain that joins the brain and the hand.

At the 4th meeting of 9th Art (Aix-en-Provence, 2007), Edmond Baudoin talks around the themes that inspires his work.
