Secretary for Territorial Action of the CCOO trade union in Barcelona, he is the union’s representative on the Executive Commission of the Economic and Social Council of Barcelona, as well as in the Pact for Mobility group and other organisms. He worked in the agriculture and food sector and in the press until the end of the 1980s when he began to work full time for the CCOO.
