Mariana Santos (@marysaints) works at Knight International Journalism Fellowship in Costa Rica as Interactive Visual storyteller. Her objective is to create multidisciplinary teams of developers, journalists, and designers in media in Latin America and advise them so that they can explain stories interactively and improve their visualisations. She previously worked in the Interactives department of The Guardian. She is one of the promoters of Chicas poderosas, a movement that aims to increase the presence of women with a technological profile in news teams in Latin America.
