The Story Of Stuff

A critical look at the society of consumption through an analysis of the production cycle of "stuff": from extraction to manufacture, through its sale, use and disposal, in relation to a huge number of environmental and social issues.

A critical look at the society of consumption that exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues. Annie Leonard, an expert on our material economy, explains the effects of the production cycle of "stuff": from extraction and manufacture through its sale, use and disposal. Using only statistical data and simple animations to illustrate her words, Leonard defends the construction of a fairer, more sustainable world.
