Transmedia Narrative Design

Workshop and Debate

Transmedia narratives are those that develop the narrative thread across different formats – blogs, television, social networks, videogames, books, etc., each of which represents a different entry point into the same story. Within the context of Transmedia Week 2014, the CCCB is hosting this activity of a practical nature that offers an approach to transmedia narrative applied to the fiction field.

The transmedia narrative design workshop, conceived and taught by Carlos A. Scolari, will be based on Design Thinking dynamics, following a process that runs from the consideration of objectives to the final presentation, and includes phases of brainstorming. The workshop aims to give participants the basic tools to develop their own project. In the closing session, which will be open to the public and feature the participation of Montecarlo and Laura Borràs, the works produced during the course of the workshop will be presented.
