Ben Russell. Trypps, Tribes and Cunning Gods

Itinerant US artist and filmmaker, author of 20 or so films, Ben Russell has a marked interest in ethnography and performance as new ways of experiencing cinema. This session regroups some of his “Trypps”, short visual poems about the multiple forms of impulse, and his anthropological research into mythology, the archaic and the primitive. The session will continue with a performance by the artist.
