Marina is a prostitute, Volodya, a piano tuner, Oleg, an executive.
Three Muscovites who meet one night in a bar to tell each other lies
about their lives. They form part of the anonymous masses in an immense
country. When they leave the bar, each of them continues on his or her
way: different villages, complications and fates. The film is based on
a script by Vladimir Sorokin.
