3 Days in a Letter’s World [Premiere]

This film draws attention to the beauty that lies in the movement of the letters painted by graffiti artists, moving from traditional animated cartoons to animations of graffiti on the walls, and then all the way to a free and open animation of letters functioning as objects. Animating movement from still photos and deconstructing their beginnings and ends, the final form of the letters themselves reveal the film’s construction. All the graffiti artists in the film camouflage their identities in the forms of their initials in 3D, in allusion to the world they create.
