Vanesa Freixa

Illustrator and rural activist

She studied Fine Arts in Barcelona and later returned to Pallars to promote several projects of territorial revitalization. She was director of the Escola Pastors for eight years and of the association Obrador Xisqueta. Since 2017, installed in a cabin at 1400 meters of altitude, she is dedicated to illustration and rural reflection. She has published the short story La Coloma, el Jan-Roy i el misteri de Boumort, co-directed the documentary El no a l'os and collaborates in several media. He also has a small flock of about ten sheep.
