Diego Salgado

A writer and film critic, he has worked with many specialist media outlets, has contributed to jointly authored books, and has given lectures in a range of institutions about cinema, criticism, and popular culture. With Elisa McCausland, he is co-author of the essays Supernovas: Una historia feminista de la ciència ficción audiovisual (Errata Naturae, 2019) and Sueños y fábulas: Historia de Vértigo (Ecc Ediciones, 2021). He presently writes on a regular basis for Cine Divergente, Detóur, Guía del Ocio, and Imágenes de Actualidad and, with Elisa McCausland, is creator of the podcast Trincheras de la Cultura Pop, which is produced by the publisher Consonni.
