He has given classes in different universities between which they emphasize the University of Western Capo, City University of New York, Wits Institute economic and social reserach and the University of Witwatersrand (Johannesburg). He has worked for several ONGs and the Economic Commission of the Nations United by Africa. It has published, among others, Urban Procesas and Change in Africa (CODESRIA, 1998), Principles and Realities of Urban Governance in Africa (United Nations-Habitat, 2002), and For the City Yet tone Eats: Changing Urban Life in Africa (Duke University Press, 2004).
