Pitó

The Classics Festival invites us to explore the myth of the foundation of the sanctuary of Delphi with a monologue by Guim Valls performed by the actress Paula Blanco under the direction of Roger Vila and with the music of Marina Herlop.
From the myth of the foundation of the sanctuary of Delphi, the story of the murder of Python by Apollo and the snatching of his powers, we want to reflect on the relationship between culture and violence. In an empty and dark stage, with the only presence of a big dress —the scenography of the play are the costumes designed by Pau Aulí— the actress Paula Blanco will get into the monster's skin to tell us her particular version of the myth.
Pitó is the stage version of the homonymous poem written by Guim Valls.
Participants: Guim Valls, Roger VIla, Paula Blanco, Marina Herlop
