KAZAAM! Fanz-film! Workshop
Feminist Film Manifestos IX
Courses and workshops + Audiovisuals
Free with pre-booking
This workshop, given by the Sevillian artist Angie de la Lama, looks at the Riot Grrrl world of DIY and uses fanzines as a creative tool together with audiovisuals.
Do cinema, fanzines and self-management have anything in common? We're going to delve into the world of femzines and perzines, into what we know about "women's" and queer cinema, be it a lot or very little. And we'll also address both the dissemination of already existing creations as well as the imagination of new cinematic scenarios regarding fem-queer representation.
We'll talk about women's films of the past, the guerrilla cinema of the present and what the future holds for cinema with a transfeminist perspective of action. DIY is directly related to format, to how something is produced, and it can be seen both in film and fanzines.
