In a context of unlimited proliferation of images and public exhibition of emotions, the curator and author of the exhibition "In the Troubled Air... Image, emotion, utopia" offers a poetic and critical look at emotions, a thesis that will be developed in the inaugural lecture.
A philosopher and art historian, Georges Didi-Huberman is a European thinker of reference who has inspired creators of all disciplines and generations.
The thread that opens this talk will be further explored in the course "La imaginació crítica" (Critical Imagination) at the Institut d'Humanitats de Barcelona and in the exhibition "Georges Didi-Huberman. Al taller del filòsof" (Georges Didi-Huberman. In the Philosopher's Workshop) hosted by the Filmoteca de Catalunya.
