Debate

How can a scientific approach address the crises to which we are exposed today? For six days, the CCCB will becomes one of the venues of the City and Science Biennial, hosting a programme of free activities to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge and bring it closer to citizens.

One of the thematic focuses of the programme at the CCCB is the Raval district and the impact on it of effects of the climate crisis, particularly heat waves. In relation to this theme, there will also be a series of sessions about circular and planetary health. Throughout the six days of the biennial, a series of art installations related to science will also be presented during exhibition opening hours. Finally, the programme includes a performative talk by Maria Arnal and José Luís de Vicente, creators of the sound essay produced by the CCCB, “Every layer of the atmosphere”.
