Dr. Victor Lopez Fandiño (IBM Innovation Center, IBM-Barcelona)

Victor Lopez is head of Information Technologies Validation at the IBM Innovation Center in Barcelona. As a member of the local IBM team Ecosistemes per al Desenvolupament, he is responsible for the technical training of business partners in IBM business analysis and information management technologies. He has over 15 years’ experience at IBM in the fields of data mining and storage. Before occupying his current position, he formed part of IBM Global Business Services, working as a consultant in the pharmaceutical, banking and insurance fields, and was a member of the information management team with the IBM Software Group. He has a PhD in neural networks and multivariate analysis from Barcelona’s Ramon Llull University.
