Participants

With a doctorate in Sociology from El Colegio de México, she is a teacher and researcher at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) in Mexico City and has also taught in several universities in Cuba, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. She has written numerous articles on Cuban themes as well as the books Los laberintos de la imaginación: Repertorio Simbólico, identidades y actores del cambio social en Cuba (Labyrinths of the Imagination: Symbolic Repertoire, Identities and Agents of Social Change in Cuba - El Colegio de México, 2000) and La nación inconclusa. (Re)constituciones de la ciudadana y la identidad nacional en Cuba (The Unfinished Nation. (Re)constitutions of Citizenship and National Identity in Cuba - FLACSO, México, 2007).
