Sonia Fernández-Vidal

Sonia is a writer and science communicator and her aim is to make science into something that is fun, exciting and easy to understand. She is author of the book La porta dels tres panys, a science communication novel aimed at both children and adult readers, which has kept her on the best-sellers lists for two years. Fourteen editions have been printed between Spanish and Catalan, and the publishing rights have been sold for a further 11 languages. Furthermore, the book has been praised by international personalities such as the Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, best-selling author Ken Blanchard, MIT scientist and futurist Raymond Kurzweil and best-selling Spanish author Alex Rovira.

Her latest book, Quantic Love, has so far sold over 40,000 copies.

Writing aside, Sonia Fernández-Vidal is director of innovation and strategy at Clacktion and a regular conference speaker on how to convert organisations into research laboratories.
