Lecturer in Social and Political History at the Social Research Institute, National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been a lecturer at the universities of Wisconsin, California, the Andes (Venezuela), Católica (Lima), Johns Hopkins (Baltimore), Rutgers (Nova Jersey), Paul Getty Center (Los Angeles) and the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).
