Photographer (Vic, 1952)
A Catalan photographer specialising in nocturnal photography and urban spaces at night, he was able to attend the Arles International Photography Festival as a young man in 1974 thanks to the Castellblanch Art Grant. Here, he was able to meet and work with eminent photographers of international renown. His work has been shown in solo and collective exhibitions and in international museums, for example the Il Diaframma Gallery of Milan, the Houston Center for Photography, and the Canon Photo-Gallery of Amsterdam. In Spain, his work has been exhibited in Manresa, Vic, Girona, Zaragoza, Bilbao and Barcelona. His most recent publications include Cazadores de sombras (Shadow Hunters, 2007) and Barcelona. Pell i ombra (Barcelona: Skin and Shadow, 2011). He has published several books on photography and his work is on exhibit at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC).
