Jordi Llavina

Writer, poet, literary critic and TV and radio presenter.

Jordi Llavina became well-known in 2001 when he won the Josep Pla Prize for Narrative with his novel Nitrato de Chile. In the field of poetry, in 2006 he won the Ciudad de Mallorca prize thanks to the compilation La Corda del Gronxador; and, in 2007, the Alfons el Magnànim prize for poetry in Catalan with the work Diari d'un setembrista.

He is a regular contributor to the newspapers Avui, El Mundo and La Vanguardia and in the programme L'ofici de viure on Catalunya Ràdio in the section Mails de amor.

In the year 2014, he has been curator for Vinyoli Year.
