Chris Redmond is a writer/performer working with spoken word, music and theatre. His poetry has been featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 4, XFM and SKY Arts. An established artist on the UK performance poetry scene, he plays in venues ranging from cafes and pubs to London’s Southbank Centre, Soho Theatre and the UK’s biggest festivals – Glastonbury, Latitude and The Big Chill. In 2011 he is touring with the Spoken Word All-Stars show. He is a supported artist at BAC London, who commissioned his first theatre show The Lost Menagerie in 2009/10. A subsequent tour, book and album are in production for 2011. Chris is founder and host of ‘Tongue Fu’ - one of London’s biggest poetry events and has released tracks on Soundseasy, Burnt Progress and Australia’s Goin’ Down Swingin’.
