Journalist and television producer
Carles Porta (Vila-Sana, Pla d’Urgell, Spain, 1963) is a journalist, writer, director and producer. He spent 14 years working on the TV3 program 30 minuts doing investigative reporting. He has also been a war reporter in various conflicts in Bosnia, Rwanda, Haiti, Algeria, Kosovo, the Near East and Pakistan. His work has received too many awards to mention here. Porta is author of the book Tor, tretze cases i tres morts (La Campana, 2005), translated into Spanish and German, an automatic classic of Spanish true crime.
