Doctor in Humanities, in charge of the section "Proposals for peace" at Nuestra Aparente Rendición

Alejandro Vélez Salas is Doctor in Humanities by the University Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and has a graduate in Political Science by the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, ITAM). He has defended his Ph.D. dissertation “Effects and consequences of 9/11. An ethic-politic perspective”, under the direction of Prof. Francisco Fernández Buey. He has lectured on security, terrorism and surveillance in academic congresses in London, Oslo and Madrid. He has been invited lecturer at the program “Legal Studies Abroad” of the UPF. He is also consultant of the Master of Security Policies of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
