121', 2003. Directed by Lutz Dammbeck
An exploration of the links between technology, art and thought, where the terrorist Ted Kaczynski (Unabomber) is the pivotal figure.
Based on the life of Ted Kaczynski, the American mathematician and terrorist known as the Unabomber, Lutz Dammbeck portrays counter-cultural movements in the second half of the 20th century by exploring the relations between technology, art, thought and lifestyles. Kaczynski was accused of several attacks between 1978 and 1995. According to his ideology, set out in his manifesto on the industrial society and its future, technology is an instrument which serves the purposes of control and repression.
