Towards a new understandinf of cancer and its treatment

 Many similarities have been found between the processes of cellular regeneration and cancer because, in the latter case, regulation of cellular growth breaks down. To what extent are stem cells involved in the production of cancer? In what ways might it be possible to intervene?
