The Shared Screen

A series of contemporary works that use found footage to make provocative reflections on the world of spectacle culture in the post 11 September context. They deal with the issue of creating cinema in a world in which the audiovisual functions above all as spectacle. All works of cinema, as opposed to art, share a single space -the screen-, such that the spectator-screen relationship cannot be dissociated from the relationship between spectacle cinema and the spectator.
