Chapter 2 – Thinking the Future
The evolution of new technologies and contemporary thought are creating the possibility of a future of shared challenges, in the form of open systems such as Linux, and competing egos and patents. The effects of this situation on the world of work are analysed by means of such dramatic present-day phenomena as the suicides in large corporations (France Telecom).
The second chapter of Soy Cámara. El programa del CCCB includes excerpts of lectures and interviews held at the CCCB, featuring Richard Sennet, Francisco Jarauta, Tzvetan Todorov and Sidi Mohammed Barkat, the thinkers and philosophers dealing with chapter two of the programme. The subject is explored pedagogically, creatively, responsibly, irreverently, humorously and critically.
