Orquestra del Caos

The selection consists of three kinds of works founded on the process of digital decoding that allows them to be made audible: artistic works intended for radio broadcast, such as those of Ernst Jandl, Roz Cheney, Steve Roden and Darren Copeland; artistic works based on the digital treatment of sounds emitted by microwaves, such as those of Tod Dockstader, Disinformation, Javier Ariza and Stephen McGreevy; and a series of sounds generated by astronomical research, with material from NASA, the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville and the Cassini RPWS project.
