Sónar'10

17th Barcelona International Advanced Music and Multimedia Art Festival

Advanced music and cutting-edge art are the heart of the Sónar festival program. In its 17th season, Sónar concerts (almost 120 live shows and DJ sets) and professional activities linked to the recording and industry fairs (where technological innovations are presented), will be joined by SonarMàtica, the festival's exhibition area, with installations, net art and other works in different formats. The CCCB and MACBA, L’Auditori and Fira Gran Via (M2), host the daytime and nighttime activities, respectively.

For the first time in 2010, Sónar will be held in two locations. To accompany Galiciás Xacobeo year, Sónar will travel the Way of St James and take place simultaneously in Barcelona and A Coruña. This means it will be a double-Sónar year, with the usual Barcelona festival and an special twin event that will be known as Sónar Galicia.
