Bookcamp Session 2011: Digital literature. Searching for new expression forms

It’s pretty clear that poetry will always be poetry and novels will go on telling unforgettable stories. But how can new digital formats influence the creative process and our way of expressing ourselves? This session invites authors, illustrators and other players involved in literary production to share their creative experiences in the field of digital literature.

The paths open to us are so many and so passionate: Microfiction and nanopoetry on Twitter, stories posted in the blogosphere, books illustrated by iPad where the images and the text gain new dimensions, or collaborative novels... What creative paths do Internet and the new digital platforms open up to us? Hypertext, interaction, realtime literature... Are ITCs influencing the creative process? Are they a decisive factor in the end result? How does form influence content?
