3'22'', 2006. Directed by Big Bonsai
An intervention by the artist Alexandre Orion in a tunnel in São Paulo, where he spent 13 nights cleaning off the dirt left on the walls by cars. By the time he finished this work, the tunnel had become a sort of catacomb, adorned by nearly 3,500 hand-drawn skulls. The police attempted to detain Orion, but were powerless to intervene, since cleaning is not specified as an offence under penal law. In the end, they thwarted the artist's intervention by cleaning the whole tunnel.
