Museum Day and Night! 2013

On International Museum Day, over 60 museums in Barcelona and its metropolitan area open their doors to the public, free of charge, until the early hours of what has come to be known as “Museum Night”. At the CCCB, we’ll be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following morning, with the following activities:

- All day, visit the exhibition Bolaño Archive: 1977-2003, free of charge!

- At 7.30 pm., in the CCCB Teatre, world multiscreen premiere of the film “El Cosmonauta (The cosmonaut, Spain’s first crowd-funded film). Paying activity. More information: http://www.elcosmonauta.es/blog/?p=1242.

- From 10.30 p.m. to 00.30 a.m., in the foyer, free session of the oral poetry competition Poetry Slam with the participation of US poet Marc Kelly Smith, founder of the movement, and French guest slammers Saïban and Mirko.

- From 14 to 19 May, a range of books published by the CCCB will be on offer for 3€, 5€ and 10€ in the LaieCCCB bookstore.
