Joseph Brodsky

Christophe de Ponfilly & Victor Loupan, 1989, France, 57’, OVS. French

On 10 December 1987 Joseph Brodsky, a Russian poet and writer living in New York, received the Nobel Prize for Literature. Respecting the artist's wish not to recount the story of his life, the directors manage to evoke this by privileging his personality and above all his poetry.
